Face test

Notes on faces tested:

ImagineGirls (center): Good face, great mouth morphs, permissive rules.  (And they've got quadded Meta "originals" available, although I don't know how to get both the morphs and the quads into Blender at the same time.)
Kanahiko-chan (right): No rules (maybe credit, I don't remember, I do that anyways), great eye morphs, but poor mouth morphs.  I find this tempting; Kanahiko-chan is amazing and underappreciated.  But maybe I should wait and see about improving the mouth morphs for a different model.
Montecore: Cute, decent shape, but problems with normals around the mouth; not sure about edit status.
REMMaple: Really fantastic face, but Miku-only rules.
Tda: Beautiful but regarded poorly by many due to widespread use, I should probably just stick with this.
Yoi: Really beautiful, especially the lips, but no edit.
YYB: Very cute, but problems with normals around the mouth.

Never mind the shine.  I needed to see what they looked like without textures, needed to see their normals, and I don't have the low-shine version of my skin shader yet.

Very hard to see what they could be instead of what they are.  Tda has the deep-set follow eyes that make her seem more expressive in this pic, but I'll create (shader-based) tracking eyes for whatever face I use.  ImagineGirls has kind of the wrong face shape for my model, but I can fix that.  Kanahiko-chan needs some bottom lashes and new eyebrows, but again, those are easy things to do, I've already added bottom lashes to Tda (although not textured yet, I'm planning to alpha channel it) and I probably want to replace her brows with bone controlled brows anyways.
